Riley's Turns 3 Months Video

Riley turns 3 months!

Hi everyone!

Where is the time going? I swear before I know it Riley will be going off to college and I'll still be trying to lose this pregnancy weight :). I cannot believe Riley is three months old today. Those first few weeks seemed to last a lifetime and then someone hit fast forward.

So, I totally think we are the first people to ever have a child. Yep, every time Riley does something I am like "she just smiled" or "she is talking" or "she just rolled over, can you believe it?" Oh yeah, babies & kids do these things. Riley Breese has so much personality and she knows what she likes. Every morning she gets so excited to wake up she greets Chris or I with this big smile as if to say "I didn't know you would be here...yippee!" She might be the only living person to date that actually enjoys listening to Paula sing...even though I make up all the songs and whenever I can't think of the next line its always "yeah, yeah, woo-hoo".

She's a great nighttime sleeper pulling in 8-10 hours every night, but we are still working on those daytime naps. Don't worry if I miss the signs she lets me (and all of our neighbors :) know she is tired loud and clear.

A week before turning 3 months she was weighed and is coming in at a strong 11 lbs. She gets lots of "oh she's so small" comments...usually followed up with "she is so alert." Yep, she is wide eyed and curious about everything and everyone. When we take her some place new you can almost see her head spin...she wants to see it ALL. Its great b/c everyday she is amazed at her world and we get to enjoy that with her.

In lieu of 3 month pictures I am posting a 3 month video...try to ignore me. I keep trying to get video of her talking, but she is most talkative when I talk to her OR when I leave her completely alone and don't distract her with the camera...so I had to try to prompt some conversation.

Also, I am posting some pictures of our new house in its latest stage...yes, we have other things going on in life besides Riley!

I meant to post these last month with her 2 month pictures, but with our move and losing internet access I wasn't able to...so I am posting them now. Riley's cousin Kylie has a Jelly Cat animal who's name is Dude. Over Christmas when Grandma Q (Paula's mom) gave Riley this Jelly Cat dog, Aunt Laura suggested he should be called Bro. And so Riley's dog is named Bro. Here's a series of pictures of Riley and her dog (have I told you what an animal lover this kid is...dogs, giraffes, crocodiles, snakes, she loves them all).
