Snowboarding in Oregon
Hi all,
We just returned from a trip to visit two of Paula's sisters and their families in Oregon (including Deb's friend Kevin)! It was a great time and we all managed to stay pretty healthy for the trip except poor Uncle Matt who got the flu while we were there...but don't worry he recovered like a true champ!
I got to meet my beautiful and mellow nephew AJ. He is 5 1/2 months and has a beautiful smile that I'd jump through hoops for if need be. Riley liked him and he was totally into her which was cool. She was too busy showing off like the ham that she is to be bothered by me holding another baby.
And while we did enjoy the babies, it wasn't all about the kids...we had some good times riding in total powder (I'm not sure I've ever seen so much powder) and playing games and just enjoying each other's company. The only downside to this trip is that it was over so fast...it helps that we all know we will see each other in June at Bill's (Paula's brother) wedding.
Videos above are Riley getting ready for her trip and the picasa site shows the pictures. We did not take nearly enough pictures...I think we were too busy chasing Riley (aka the energizer bunny around)...but we are hoping to get more from Deb & Laura & Kevin.
